THE OLIVE TREE

I was investigating my cultural heritage in this project. I made this animation during the Palestinian olive harvest season. I wanted to raise awareness to the struggles that Palestinians are faced with every year when it is time to harvest their crops.

It is a time in the year when Israeli Settlers destroy hundreds of trees on Palestinian land. The actions of Israeli settlers are supported and encouraged by the Israeli Government.
